A series of one-of-a-kind sculptural tables created with wooden feet, or "sabots," of different colored hardwoods.
2011. Collectors' table. Cherry, with bloodwood, maple and ebony "sabots." Oil finish. Flocked interior of bowls. Tempered glass top. 24" diameter top, 32.5" h. This table is an investigation of classical architectural form, and a natural continuation of the Sabotage series: a three-legged table.

Sabotage #4 and #5 are female and male dancers in traditional ballet poses. These two-legged tables are stable and yet communicate a dancer's energy.
2011. Curly maple with ebony 'sabots.' Oil finish. 14" w X 58" l X 33" h. The Sabotage series began with investigating the traditional Hepplewhite leg as a structure that might have had shoes or hooves. Sabotage #2 and #3 are evocative of four-legged hooved creatures with an African inspiration.
