Peter was introduced to the plastic he made the ears from at a rehab center, after severing his right forefinger, now successfully reattached. It represents the quintessential stoner whose eyes light up as the joint is lit by opening the "stash." It also conveys the essence of Peter's friend. When the lid of the tin is lifted, the smoker’s eyes and the tip of his joint become illuminated. Stash was created with a Celestial Seasonings Lemon Zinger tea box and sawdust-filled "joints." The two "grain of sand" bulbs in the center of antique velvet eye sockets glow continuously. The laminated, carved Corian was modeled after a real human skull. Stolen.</image:caption>

French glass eyes are covered by leather eyelids, making them appear to be in a dream-like state. The hat, which inspired this sculpture, belonged to a gentleman friend of Peter's mother-in-law, who died of emphysema. Stolen.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>2013. Humidor of Spanish cedar and other mixed media. 60" high. "Nick" is a humidor which holds a gross of cigars in a controlled humidity environment. "Nick" rolls around on a repurposed medical stand, equipped with men's brogues, and has one hand on his lapel, holding an Art Deco refrigerator latch which opens the humidor.
